Membership

Membership fees are EURO 50,- per year for full members with employment, EUR 40,- per year for employed persons who carry concurrent membership both in the VSJF and the Gesellschaft für Japanforschung e.V., and EUR 25,- per year for students and members without employment. For corresponding members (those which do not permanently reside in a German-speaking country) the membership fee is EUR 30,- per year.

If you have any requests concerning the membership of the German Association for Social Science Research on Japan, Dr. David Chiavacci or Prof. Dr. Frank Rövekamp will be happy to help. Both are members of the executive board. Dr. David Chiavacci currently acts as the Secretary-General of the Association. Prof. Dr. Frank Rövekamp is responsible for international networking:
